Evening Star

Star must travel through the Shadow Woods to get home on a night of curses and terror.

Every Halloween I try to do a game with lots of ghosts and monsters, and this time I finished a whole level. This game is much more fleshed out than my previous ones, being a full-on action platformer with a responsive camera, variable jumps, health and lives, pickups, enemy generators, and more. What dangers will you face...? Estimated time to complete: 5 minutes

Like Castlevania or Ghosts and Goblins, you are hindered by sticky air control and annoying enemies. Your attack only works midair and it alters your jump arc, so you have to make decisions on the fly to avoid ghosts.

Controls:

Z - jump

X - kick attack (X+up and X+down to adjust direction)

P - pause

N - alternate outfit (just cosmetic, no gameplay usage)
